Stefan Groß, responsible for the highly acclaimed work of the renowned jazz and world music label intuition from 1995 to 2001, founded the label and promotion agency Q-rious music in May 2002.
This decision was based on the firm conviction that a sense for exceptional music, plus more than a decade of experience, is a valuable basis for action even in times of industry-wide concern.
Q-rious believes that there will always be people who play special music, just as there will always be people who want to listen to special music.
Providing these two groups with an address worth recommending was and is the company’s primary goal.
Since October 2006, the promotion division has been managed by Marcel Westphal, who has been with Q-rious music since November 2003.
Q-rious enjoys the trust of a large number of customers from the independent and major sectors.

Stefan Groß was managing director for the acclaimed and nominated German Jazz and World Music label intuition from 1995 – 2001.
In  In 2002 he founded his own promotional agency and music label Q-rious Music.
Stefan (Stan) started Q-rious because of a firm conviction that his sense of unique and extraordinary music combined with more than a decades worth of industry experience would prove invaluable in his mission to promote and keep alive special music in todays volatile industry.
Q-rious knows that there will always be people that play special music and there will always be people that listen to special music.
Q-rious Music was set up to be the meeting point for these special people.
In October 2006 Marcel Westphal joined Q-rious to head up the promotions department.
The Q-rious reputation continues to grow and today enjoys the respect and confidence of the industry and a wide variety of clients from the worlds of music and film.
