For the upcoming seasons, he is available for:

• Solo: In his solo program, Florian Weber dedicates himself entirely to free improvisation. Nothing is planned in advance – each note arises from the previous sound and develops into a chord, a motif, or a musical fragment that continues to unfold. Memory and imagination crystallize in the moment, giving shape to music that is both spontaneous and deeply reflective.
  Weber often incorporates ideas or melodic suggestions from the audience, weaving them into his improvisations and creating a shared musical experience. Every concert is unique: an exploration of sound where freedom, intuition, and dialogue find their voice.

• Quartet: For his quartet, Florian Weber has written pieces tailored to each musician, inspired by what fascinates him about the specific sound of their instrument: the shimmering overtones of the cymbals, the delicate harmonics of the bass, the overblown tones of the flute. These compositions serve as starting points rather than fixed structures, offering a frame that allows the greatest possible freedom of expression.  Improvisation plays a central role – not as a soloistic display, but as a collective process. The focus lies on interaction, listening, and the blending of individual voices into a shared soundscape. Each performance becomes an exploration of color and texture, balancing composition and spontaneity in equal measure.

  Michel Benita – acclaimed French bassist whose warm tone and melodic sensibility make him a sought-after collaborator across Europe
  Jeff Ballard – one of the most respected drummers in contemporary jazz, known for his rhythmic inventiveness and his work with Brad Mehldau and many others
  Florian Weber – a pianist with a refined sense of lyricism and form, bridging European traditions and modern jazz innovation

Together, they create a sound that combines European lyricism with transatlantic energy, offering both subtle textures and dynamic interplay.
