Das Projekt, das sie gemeinsam mit Mihkel M\u00e4lgand, einem der f\u00fchrenden Bassisten Estlands und ihrem langj\u00e4hrigen Mitstreiter, im Duo auff\u00fchrt, ist derzeit auf europ\u00e4ischen B\u00fchnen zu sehen. Ein neues Studioalbum soll im Februar 2026 unabh\u00e4ngig ver\u00f6ffentlicht werden.<br \/>\nDas Album spiegelt Kadris Suche nach einem emotionsgeladenen Sound und freierer Improvisation wider \u2013 offener, warmer und in ihrem estnischen Hintergrund verwurzelt. Es kombiniert neue Originale mit einigen Coverversionen, die durch dasselbe Prisma gesungen werden: einfache Geschichten und \u201eHerzenslieder\u201c, die eher von Gef\u00fchlen als von Form geleitet sind. Voorand nutzt ihre Stimme als Instrument und formt Melodie und Rhythmus mit emotionaler Sensibilit\u00e4t, die die Zuh\u00f6rer in ihren Bann zieht. Jedes Konzert entfaltet sich als gemeinsames Erlebnis \u2013 bewegend, spontan und mitrei\u00dfend.<\/p>\n<p>Als eine der f\u00fchrenden Stimmen des nordischen Jazz mit internationalen Tourneen und Plattenaufnahmen markiert Voorand nun einen Wendepunkt sowohl in ihrer Live- als auch in ihrer Studioarbeit.
