Nach dem Erfolg und der schwedischen Grammy-Nominierung ihres Albums “Mirages By the Lake<\/em>” (o-tone Music) ver\u00f6ffentlicht die renommierte Jazzs\u00e4ngerin und Komponistin Josefine Lindstrand<\/strong> am 30. August 2024 ihr mit Spannung erwartetes f\u00fcnftes Soloalbum “For The Dreamers”.<\/p>\n

“For The Dreamers<\/strong>” ist eine kreative und spielerische Reise durch Lindstrands musikalische Gedankenwelt und umfasst acht neue Songs, die ihre unverwechselbare Mischung aus Jazz und vertr\u00e4umtem Pop nahtlos miteinander verbinden. Aufgenommen im atemberaubenden norwegischen Studio “Ocean Sounds”, das direkt am Atlantik liegt, f\u00e4ngt das Album die Essenz des Ortes ein, wobei die Band inmitten des eiskalten Windes vor dem Fenster aufnimmt. Lindstrands leichte und luftig Stimme, begleitet von ihren virtuosen Musikern, Jonas \u00d6stholm (Piano), Gunnar Halle (Trompete & Effekte), P\u00e4r-Ola Landin (Bass) und Fredrik Myhr (Drums, Pad & Computer) und Marius Neset, der norwegische Saxophonist, der auf dem dritten Track des Albums als Featuring Guest auftritt, l\u00e4dt in eine Welt ein, in der die kristallklare Klarheit der skandinavischen Seen und die dunkle Mystik der schwedischen W\u00e4lder verschmelzen.<\/p>\n

Josefine Lindstrand<\/strong> ist eine hochgelobte Jazzs\u00e4ngerin, Komponistin und Pianistin, die in Stockholm lebt und seit mehr als 15 Jahren zu den f\u00fchrenden S\u00e4ngerinnen der Jazzszene in Skandinavien geh\u00f6rt. Mit zahlreichen Preisen wurde sie \u00fcber die Jahre als \u201eBest jazz artist in Sweden\u201c, vom Schwedischen Rundfunk als \u201eBeste Jazzkomponistin\u201c ausgezeichnet und erhielt einen d\u00e4nischen Grammy! \u00dcber ihre eigene Musik hinaus, schreibt Josefine auch Auftragswerke f\u00fcr Chor, Big Band und Film. Seit \u00fcber 10 Jahren ist sie die S\u00e4ngerin in der britischen Django Bates Band \u201eHuman Chain\u201c, und hat mit dem US-Pianisten Uri Caine, sowie dem Metropole Orchestra gespielt und aufgenommen.<\/p>\n
