No Rush ist die neunte Studioaufnahme des MegaOctet, einer kleinen Big Band aus neun Musikern in Form eines au\u00c3\u0178ergew\u00c3\u00b6hnlichen Alchemie- und Klanglabors.
\n\u00e2\u20ac\u017eNo Rush… Nehmen wir uns Zeit, h\u00c3\u00b6ren wir zu, komponieren wir\u00e2\u20ac\u0153. F\u00c3\u00bcr Andy Emler war ein Moment intensiver Einsamkeit der Anlass, Musik des 20. Jahrhunderts zu h\u00c3\u00b6ren (Arnold Sch\u00c3\u00b6nberg, Witold Lutoslawsky, Gy\u00c3\u00b6rgy Ligeti, Maurice Ohana, Philippe Manoury, Tristan Murail, Bernard Cavanna etc.) und dann eine intensive Schreibphase einzuleiten.<\/p>\n

In dieser Suite, die speziell f\u00c3\u00bcr die neun virtuosen Musiker des Orchesters komponiert wurde (der Gitarrist Nguy\u00c3\u00aan L\u00c3\u00aa, der 1989 an der ersten Version von MegaOctet mitwirkte, ist wieder dabei), finden wir, erweitert, den Ton der Emlerschen Klangsignatur. Seine orchestrale Kombinatorik (das Orchester, das kollektive Spiel, kein Klaviersolo), seine Melodien und andere Mischungen, die Rav\u00c3\u00a9lienne-Farbe in Verbindung mit dem rhythmischen Feuer Strawinskiens, seine subtile dialektische Komposition\/Improvisation und seine originellen Klangfarbenlegierungen.<\/p>\n

Einmal mehr ist Andy Emler hier Pianist, Komponist, Arrangeur, Regisseur\/Tonmeister, aber auch und vor allem nat\u00c3\u00bcrlicher Dirigent, d.h. Katalysator von Energien, von Begeisterung; das versteht sich. Keine Eile. Musik braucht ihre Zeit. Sie ist ebenso architektonisch wie ereignisreich; die orchestrale Masse und der Solipsismus, die Nomenklatur und das Abenteuer, die Autorit\u00c3\u00a4t und die Sensation, die Inbrunst und der Humor, die Lyrik und das Gemurmel, die Lichtung und das Quietschen, die Umarmung und die Verzauberung, die Brillanz und die Evidenz.<\/p>\n
